Gawgeous shot m8. Right at the end of golden hour!
My last truly /out/ outing was right before I moved out of New England back in January. I was sick of winter at the time, but also knew I'd be missing it sooner or later so figured I'd nostalgically brave the storm before I flew to a place that never snows.
>>1037274
thanks my dude. snow is comfy af. haven't seen any in fucking years ree
My latest /out/ hiking was in february.
Going back to Norway again this month.

Taken on a hill by my grandparent's house in WV
I'm actually really proud of how it turned out, since it was way sunnier out than this suggests

I don't go outside because that's where other people are.
Does flying count as /out/?
>>1037279
Sick pic, but we both know there is a road right there out of the frame and you drove there.
>>1039337
There's also a camera right out of frame which captured the location and the image we see isn't really the outdoors right there in front of us, anon.
Spent some time hiking out west recently.
The is amazing, man. I know it's not super far removed from civilization but it feels like another planet.

Nice and trippy
In Garmisch, Germany for the weekend. Enjoying the views and outdoors.
Went hiking in the Cascades last month. I'd never been to the mountains before, and I couldn't believe there was like four feet of snow on the ground in late May.
Explored the woods behind my new house this morning, found this sweet little lake quite a bit out there. After some research, found it used to be a gravel pit.
Who /beargrass/ here
I saw a wild bison on my last hike!

>>1037268

Another one. Arkansas by the way.
>>1042404
Did you shit yourself?
I've never encountered anything larger than that bison, but I'm absolutely terrified of running into a moose, cougar or grizzly in the woods.
No matter how much I research into how to deal with them it still scared the shit out of me.
>>1042535
I should mention we were driving and it was a few hundred feet in front of us. But there's no mistaking that long bushy tail

Organized a group 3 day camping trip in a nearby state park. Weather was perfect, other than a thunderstorm Saturday morning, but I brought enough things to help pass the time. When it cleared up I went kayaking. Will dump a few pics.

It's all beautiful though, I really want to explore the Pacific coastline all the way south someday, and see the Atlantic
Camped in Bridger-Teton National Forest with some buddies for the weekend. They were fly fishing and didn't catch anything all day, then we threw out a spinning rod with some bait and just let it sit while we drank around the campfire.
One guy noticed the rod was gone and another dove in and dragged this fish in. We didn't bring a whole lot in the way of spice so I cooked it in bacon grease, beer, and lime juice.
Turned out pretty damn good.

Also who needs mountains when you got swamps, the swamp is so alive with animals, insect, and birds. Literally an /out/ paradise
Pic is view from front porch
>>1050997
>who needs mountains
Fuck Yeah! I mean who doesn't like mosquitos, gators and ball soup inducing humidity?
>>1051118
That's very glib anon. Everything worthwhile has a hardship worth overcoming. Swamps just happen to be extra worthwhile is all. No Pain No Gain.
All aboard the feel train:
https://youtu.be/3HxwMxLnPQ4
>>1051118
Oh i forgot some people are still pussies, gators can't do shit unless you're in the water, mosquitos are in the mountains too, and you must be a female if you give a shit about humidity, yeah it may be a little bad for one month, but grow a fucking pair
Was /out/ with my gf yesterday, grand sable dunes in the UP of Michigan
I'll post more pics later if there's any interest

is that Devil's Lake?
Haven't made it there this year, but going to Rock Island in less than a week - will definitely bring back pictures...
Here's from our long holiday weekend up near Manitowish
>>1052184
Please do, I love the UP but won't be able to go again before I leave the country.
>>1050997
Why did you even bring up mountains? A little insecure are we, bog dweller?
>>1052202
totally anon, why are you leaving the country if i may ask?
the entire reason we went up there was to have one last big dumb adventure before she went off to basic training.
this is the start of the dunes by the way, hence the road

ill just dump a bit of my favorite pictures

Going on a multi-month backpacking trip along the Great Divide starting in Banff, Alberta, then going to be away from this country for quite awhile (being /out/ in the UK, Germany, more Europe). The UP will always hold a special place in my heart though.
>>1052301
we had abandoned the trail at this point, i swear this area was like a desert, a forest, and a lake had a baby. it was fantastic
>>1052302
shit m8, sounds like fun. dont die and post pictures for us when you get back, ok?
my finger got in this one because i suck at photos, but you can see a bit of the pictured rocks far into the distance
>>1052304
we had to hike through some thicc brush at this point, and my phone died during that bit so this is the last photo worthy of posting
if you can, i highly recommend going there, nothing beats the feeling of sitting on the top of a dune and staring out into the endless horizon of lake superior

Your question reminded me of that one anon @ /adv/(?) that had a hardon everytime he prayed or thinking of God IIRC.

Dutchie here. There is literally NO PLACE for us here.
My go to spots are:
Czech Republic
Scotland
Wales
Alps (especially around the Mont Blanc, it's my goal to climb it)
Denmark
It sucks not being able to do day trips. There is a decent forest nearby, which is the only day trip size location to go to. Basically, I have to go a full week for it to be worth it.
