Hello /out/
I'm a regular lurker and haven't seen much about this,
I'm personally am a trip happy individual, i like to star gaze all night in the shanendoah, and then follow up with 6am to midday hiking 4-7miles.
There is significantly more wildlife in the early hours, less people, and its cool enough to wear heavier gear in case the burr get stupid.
Also was gonna dump pics
Saw a mama burr and cub 20feet ahead in the path on This one, as about 8am, the cub shot up a tree and the mother dove into a bush.
I had to wait 10min, clack my walking stick, then sing a tune before carrying on my hike.
That's actually stunning, OP.
I'm planning a trip soon.

Fucking phone
I'm gonna head up tonight probably and see what I can find in the morning.
I'm also moving west, and gonna hit most of the northern national parks to check there stars, burr, and sunrises.
I'll post them as I slowly cross the country
I am fully enjoying this thread. Keep going.
also,
>in case the burr get stupid
are you saying you wear burr armor or something?

5.11 DWR tear proof pants, two underlayers, boots, compression socks
A nice big vest (cut resistant), gloves, couple layers of shirts/underarmor.
A K-bar, and a 6ft walking stick with copper tip.
I'm that tacticool fag, I'm just a little sketchy, since tripping in the mountains with bear can be dangerous.
I'm from Va,
/out/ is ok in my area, but I have to travel a lot.
I'm at least in a rural area and close to the coast.
I get to do some boating, that direction, fishing/kayaking in the rivers, and camping/hiking in the mountains.
Really want to move to Wa since it offers all the same stuff in a better setting
I got to take a nap here xp
It was wonderfully warm, and a small clearing in the middle of a lot of briars, secluded and safe
Op here,
My girl and I did a night hike to a peak this morning,
