So you can't read properly?
Not sure if anyone is being serious on this thread but if there are any, what are some good spots to hunt wild hogs in California? I've got a 12ga shotgun and a nugget to use, I've never gone hunting before also
>>1031179
you'll want something semi-auto for a follow up shot
>>1031328
Not necessarily, although they are nice to have.
There are a bunch of different, perfectly valid ways to hunt hogs. Several of them offer the hunter complete safety.
Where I live, stand hunting for hogs is the most common since running dogs or hunting with white light is illegal. The vast majority I've killed have been with a single-shot 7mm-08 at around 100 yards.
>>1031350
Where I live we can hunt hogs on private land with a spotlight even with no license or permit at all as long as you are the land owner or you have permission from the owner

>>1030746
You look like Chris "kill sand niggers for Zion" Kyle.
>>1033326
I'm too old, too short and too fat for that.
>>1033325
Well because the animals in your pics live in the north, I figured it'd be Europe since the antlers of American moose are bigger. And the landscape reminded me of Norway plus the tattoos on your forearms.
How's the moose population btw, I'd guess up north they probably have a lot of space and you don't have many wolves right?
>>1030014
lol
>>1033403
the moose popilation is very steady and quite good.
I live in Finnmark so there is only a few wolves here, no sign of them taking any sheeps or moose.
the few wolves there is has walked over the ice from Russia.
and yeah Finnmark is bigger than Denmark so moose and other wildlife has plenty of space and hunting and fishing opportuneties here are great.

Did he snap his entire rack off?
>>1035134
No, the dipshit just shot a babby moose.
>>1030877
>No. But these sick bastards look like they had a successful hunt.
Bringing home the meat & celebratin.
>>1032713
Shite dawg i wish i could do that on the norm :<
>>1035134
Not all of it, but it had some damage. It's a small rack because it's a young animal, probably 2,5 years old.
But he had a deformed rack, we've never seen a rack like that before. He was unusually fat during mating season and didn't give off that horrible smell they have during mating season either, so we think there was something wrong with him.
>>1035136
No need to get aggressive or rude when you don't know the reasons I shot it.
I'm on a hunting team, and the land owner is in charge. He has a 5 year plan on how to keep the local moose population growing and has a pretty good idea on how to manage stuff like this, so he decides which animals we can and can't shoot. I couldn't shoot any large bulls during mating season, only bulls with maximum 5 point antlers.
This one has 4, but as I mentioned, deformed antlers.
We aren't exactly trophy hunters that only go looking for the biggest moose in the forest, although we might shoot one outside of mating season.
>>1035264
I never said there weren't valid reasons for shooting babby moose.
