Sure, I'd love to visit some of your renowned national parks and set up my tent somewhere (wild camping is illegal here, just like 'bout everywhere else in Europe) but it pains me greatly that I just can't go /out/ during the weekends.
>>
>>1022391
I kinda feel you despite still having some decent /out/ here, much due to having sweet beaches. But there isn't anything closed to wilderness, I have hard time admitting it but I get a bit jealous when Americans, Canadians or Aussies post their trips middle fucking nowhere and their huge ass hiking trails.

Can you go to France or Germany or is it too much trouble on weekends? Never been to Europe but I've heard it's easy to travel between EU countries and the public transportation is supposedly good. I get why you wouldn't want to spend 8+ hours on travel during your weekend though. If you ever decide to visit the vastness of North America, post on /out/ and you could probably find anons willing to recommend good areas and even give you free lodging and transportation when you're not camping.

that was a random grammar Nazi, not me.
your concern for forest fires is unfounded.
except during drought conditions there's 0%
of a fire getting away from you. 1 in 7 years
we get dry enough that wildfires are possible.
even then mostly just the under story burns.
Mature trees might get their bark singed.
I'm not downplaying the horrors of a forest fire
like what happened in Memphis. We haven't had
anything similar since 1964. Also tinder doesn't
build up in my woods like it does out West.

>no mountains

Whoa 100% wrong. I'm a Brit who lived in Oz for 3 years. Australia has tons of mountains.

>Snowy Mountains
>Blue Mountains
>Half of Tasmania

That's just off the top of my head. All those are mountains regions, there's tons of small ranges and individual mountains in Australia too.

mountainous*

I got to stop drinking.

fair enough, I just assumed that you were one of those retarded sc/out/s that disregard the ocean as big part of /out/. my bad.
>>

Yo it wasn't my decision, do you think I'm okay with that ?
Germany is all about regulations and SAFETY (FOR MUH CHILDREN). This country may be very organized, but also very bourgeois and I, my friend, hate it too

>3 mountain ranges
Wow. So many mountains.
In my state alone there are two mountain ranges. I do live in one of the best /out/ areas, however

I get that, my rant wasn't directed at you as an individual, but rather to the Germany as a country.

>SAFETY (FOR MUH CHILDREN)
I have not enough words to describe how much I despise governments when they regulate and restrict individual freedom in name of that.

Unfortunately it will only get worse, there are too many retards and we all have to pay the price for their stupidity.

near the coast is where all the rainforest and mountain ranges are, which is the best /out/ areas imo

The mid inland section of Queensland is mainly grass lands or dry forests which is what we refer to as "the bush", as it gets closer to NT it becomes more and more desert like

The southern half closer to the ocean have have more hills and are less dry

The whole central section is just desert

camping is illegal, but there are no cops in the woods, right?
>>
>>1029665
There are. They're called forest rangers and they usually take their job way too seriously.

We have an awesome sea here with water as clean as the air and beautiful surrounding nature. It's quiet and relaxing, like a little spot of paradise.
You're not allowed to park your car anywhere close, you're not allowed to go off the little trails and needless to say that you're not fucking allowed to lie down on the beach or go take a swim. You'll get a big ass fine.

But tearing up the ground to lay those russkie gas pipes is perfectly fine. Just don't have any fun or relaxation, it's Germany after all.
