Nothing wrong with a walking stick, specially when walking down or up steep hills and you need to lean forward, or to help take weight off of a bad knee.

Great for helping cross rivers, wack any brush or spider webs out of the way.

Can use it to help set up a tarp shelter, beat away any thing needed that could be a threat (Rather shoot it, some times things just need a good wack) plenty of other crap. You'd know all this if you actually got out of your parents basement and went into the woods.
