found a maglight, hatchet, s.o.g. paratool, lots of other shit I can't think of right now.
Maglight was half burried in mud but still worked perfectly, hatchet was stuck in a stump and rusty, s.o.g. paratool was found below waterline completely corroded shut, they all cleaned up well and I use them all the time.

I found a cheap looking fixed blade Gerber knife stuck in a tree, the funny part was that I found it while fishing and I was just turning around to head back to camp because I forgot my pocket knife

we found a copy of the hobbit in a creekbed one time as kids. Otherwise I found one of those ultracrap "survival knives" with the hollow handle rusted to shit one time

A very old and extremely rusty ww2 British Army revolver in a field whilst /out/ with my dad years and years ago.

I have no idea where it is now or I'd post a pic. It was totally rusted, all the moving parts fused together

I found a junkies hobo camp. There was stolen goods scattered around in the camp. Basically a complete set of camping gear with everything you need to spend the night outdoors that he had stolen from someone, some of the gear was pretty nice but it was ruined after being out in the rain for a while. There was also needles around to confirm it was a junkie camp. His tent was also there with a sleeping bag and more needles inside. There was also a bicycle without front wheel that was obviously stolen goods too.

We found a small cabin on her land that'd been abandoned and we fixed up. It had propane heating and a stove, a brand new camping tent, sex books, moonshine, just a lot of shit.

Found an iron mattock that's pretty sturdy once.

Found an entire railcar full of railroad ties.

Coolest thing I ever found /out/ was a little island with three big fat bull dyke women camping on it. I pulled up in my boat as one of them was going to town on a huge ass tree with an axe. 40 or so years old, 300 lbs, short shorts, tank top, no bra, hair all over, jiggling and hanging out like mad. Zero fucks given, obviously.

She was scary as fuck. Did I mention the axe? I almost motored the hell back up the river. Instead, I said hi. What followed was one of the chillest evenings ever. We smoked, drank, and shot the shit for hours. They were really cool ladies.

I hope I run into them again this summer. And no, you perverts, nothing sexy went down.

So far I have gotten all my notable finds from assholes who go camping and find out that I like to give assholes a bad time.

The first find was after dealing with a rowdy group of 7 people who were being completely obnoxious and destroying the atmosphere of the site my wife and I were at. They got ejected from the site and the next morning while walking in the woods about 100 yards from where they were camped my wife found a jar stashed under a log with about a quarter of some really dank pot complete with a new pipe and lighter. It was great smoke and being free made it even better.

The latest was messing with a group of bikers who took their bikes into a tent only area that was walk in only and had a tent that had "fuck rats" spray painted on the side. They stayed up to about 2 am screaming at each other and trashing the area which host endangered species. After we got done getting a ranger to wake them up and write them citations before ejecting them we checked their site and found a nice little Gerber knife one had dropped while getting his crap together.

I used to get pissed at assholes who go camping, now I just troll them and get free shit.
