I'm similar. I am just sick of being alone and going /out/ just cuts me off from humanity even more. I want to go out because it'd be doing something but what does it matter, I'll never be able to share it with anyone. I wish I had some friends or something so that I could escape to the outdoors to be alone. Rather than just go to the outdoors and be even more alone. Anyone have tips on this problem?

only one time when i got mild hypothermia after being really unprepared and picking a terrible campsite that got wet. then it went below freezing overnight and snowed. first and only time i retreated (so far)

I wouldn't go for a multi-day camping trip in shitty weather but I've done up to 8 hours in -20 degree Canadian winter and made out just fine with a bit of preparation.
