No regrets. You only live for so long, so you'll only get to enjoy so many cars unless you're going to build up a collection. If you drive a Celica, I presume you're not working up a car collection.

Well the easiest (and this is an oprative word) would be to use the LS4, it'd still take some work, and such but it's transverse from the factory, and has been fitted into an RSX, pic related with some work.

Now if it's worth the work needed or not, I'll leave to you, but yeah it's possible without having to go full super fabricator and mad science it into some weird RWD contraption.
