Grand Tour is terrible

The production value is high but ALL the jokes are terrible. Celebrity braincrash was unfunny the first time and they just repeat it EVERY fucking episode. One episode there's a running joke of Hammond driving a loud muscle car and that joke is repeated every 5 minutes. The American is terribly unfunny and what's the point of using a mobile studio if the movies from the episode are in totally other continents anyway?

Top Gear probably peaked around 2007 or so, with the USA road trip and them making a cover of Red Light Spells danger, there was a lot of good chemistry there.

BBC might argue that it's the character's personality that was created by the Top Gear script writers. Don't forget that Top Gear was just as scripted but for some reason it felt more natural. I think nerves about offending BBC copyright made the script for Grand Tour a lot worse.
