You can't deny it.
Iconic and perfect representation of the time it was produced. They are already becoming cool again.
It rivals the Testarossa of Miami Vice.
its an emissions monster and overkill in almost everything

The H1 is the only cool Hummer.
*ironically*
no u
It already is a classic.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to find clean examples under $20,000, even the ones that are creeping up on 20 years old, and the '08 and '09 models with the interior refresh regularly sell for $80,000 - $100,000.

Did these things qualify for CFC?

>only 600 units were sold in 2009
Hummer's demise was expected.
Economic crash and gas at $4-5 a gallon meant people couldn't afford a $80,000 SUV with a 400hp v8 that got 6 mpg.

This.
H2s are just oversized Tahoes with a Tonka truck look to them. Can't believe I wanted this shit so bad back then.

But average normie's hunger for big vehicles never died down. We even got crossover hatchbacks for christ's sake.
Hummer comeback when?

They did for a while, but then gas prices dropped.
Most crossovers get better than 20mpg, so it's still palatable to soccermoms. I don't think single-digit fuel economy will ever sell again.
But if they did it right, the Hummer could be okay.
Drop it down to a v6 instead of a v8.
Make it a turbocharged diesel hybrid (I'm totally serious, by the way).
Take some cues from Honda's new 10-speed transmission from the Odyssey.
Given its size and weight, it would be a struggle, but I think you could get it closer to 20mpg if you did all of this.

Just wait for the next oil hike, they'll plummet to 8 grand again.

The people who are buying them these days aren't DDing them.
There will be pristine H2s that will hammer at Barrett Jackson and Mecum for over $200k 25 years from now. Mark my words.

>The H1 is the only cool Hummer.
I agree but i still would not own one. I am trying to locate a Hummer steering gear right now and they are expensive as fuck and hard to find.
