Stupidly expensive, $10 a gallon here
I just use 104+ max, it works for me, smoother operation and better mpg
>>17883651
>octane booster
this shit is literally pseudoscience
>>17883724
Most of them are yeah, especially the cheap ones
Royal purple/torco have mmt and work really well but they leave manganese deposits on your plugs, o2 sensors and cat. I use 104+ max which gets my exactly where I need to be since my engine is spec'd for 94.
>>17883732
just go to Sigma Aldrich and buy yourself a big 4L jug of 99% Toluene
F1 cars used to use like 84% toluene 16% hexane before regulations banned it.
>Not being able to buy 100 ocatne at local speed shop
Just fuck off guy, is that injector cleaner?
>>17883767
what sort of deposits will that leave after?
>>17883651
I do though, regular pump gas boils in my float bowl
I would lose power with race fuel as it's harder to burn and I don't knock with US87 swill so I have no reason to up the octane.
>>17883896
Toluene and Hexane are pure carbon, so the most you'll have is CO2 and water

I see you went to the gimmick isle in an auto parts store. Next time you go can you pick me up some radiator stop leak and rod knock fix in a bottle?

Which is offset by the fucking awful fuel mileage you get with e85.

Toluene destroys rubber, xylene is better
>>17886071
It's cool to get more power without having to increase airflow though.
