the compression isn't the issue. the apex seals are shorter than the turbo 13bs from an rx7. so with boost they are prone to "roll out" of the groove
you have to pretty much do a rebuild, and send the rotors to be milled for rx7 apex seals. then it's fine and you're damned right you'll need some way to tune it with that much compression and boost

No its a bad idea to boost a renesis, youre better off with a 13b-rew or maybe a Turbo II engine. The renesis wasnt designed with boost in mind, the money youd spend boosting a renesis you could get much more performance from a 13b-rew.
Renesis is for people who want an na rotary setup.
