I really want a Ford Festiva. Am I retarded?

your digits confirm, you're retarded
>>17878333
nah, they're cool little shitboxes
>>17878333
No more retarded than me who desires a second gen Geo metro, or any one of the legions of people who want a Twingo.

the Festiva is a good car. if i could find one in my area in decent condition i'd get it.

As a daily driver no especially if you want to do some light rally type things in dirt roads because parts are stupid cheap and the car it self is easy to fix. Same goes for geo metro/Suzuki swif

I had 2 of them, they were fucking awesome
does anyone know where i can get mazda 121 trim components to swap onto a Festiva? i can't find shit on Ebay.
With unlimited money, how hard would it be to swap a more powerful 4 cylinder into one of these, like a Toyota 2ZZ-GE or a Honda K24 or something?
A fun tin can with a decently powerful engine sounds like a real hoot.

literally the easiest car to engine swap. all the B series engines drop right in. the B6T swap into the Festiva is thoroughly documented and is pretty much playskool tier in difficulty as far as engine swaps go.

Thanks guys. When I can find a good one I'm gonna make the Festiva of my dreams.

Festivas are one of the least shittiest shitboxes. If you're looking for a shitbox, you could do much worse.

Don't be a dim bulb. I owned a Festiva when it was new, even when factory fresh it was an underpowered, cheap POS that has paper thin body panels and is a death trap even in low speed wrecks. Everything is as cheaply made and shoddy as possible. It was designed to be a shitbox and it wasn't even good enough to be that.

Hayabusa swaps are pretty popular too
