Any fellow europoors with 5th gen Mustang GT?
How do you cope with the gas prices?
I would like to get a 5th gen GT, but I really afraid of the consumption of the engine. How much does a GT eats? 11L/100km?
More like 15L.
5th gen was never sold by Ford over here. You have to import them individually, which makes them so expensive the gas cost doesn't matter much anymore.
The 6th gen is currently sold, but still a bit exotic. It's also still pretty expensive for a Mustang. In Germany it's 8k€ more than a 370Z Pack. So it doesn't fit the "cheap large NA" niche.

>8k More while also being way faster than a 370z.
Sounds about right.

I know 5th gen was never sold, but there are plenty of used, already imported ones.

In the US they cost about the same.
I used that example to illustrate it doesn't fit the "cheap sports car" niche over here, so if you buy one you're not thinking about gas price.

Put a LPG kit in it and enjoy cheap gas prices.
You don't drive a GT for good gas mileage. If you can't cope stick with your 1L diesel shitboxes. My GT gets 12mpg city and I just say fuck it and fill up every 2 days cause I enjoy the car and how it drives.

It's running rich. And yeah I drive with a lead foot. If I just sip the powerband it'll get 17
I usually get about 12.7L/100km in a mix of city/highway.
You could possibly get that to 10L/100km on just highway.
But on track, if your good, your looking at 50L/100km
