ITT: Rare or obscure cars that some anons may not know exist.
>>17860172
I know this one:
Renault Clio Symbol, a slavshit market exclusive
>>17860172
literally my neighbour drives that and there is at least one more on my street
how about a micra wagon
Looks like a frankencar welded together by a slav mechanic from half of a Thalia and half of a Clio.
>>17860190
here it is called renault thalia
dacia logan is based off this thing
>>17860199
>literally my neighbour drives that and there is at least one more on my street
The Clio is super popular in Europe, but it turns out they made a 4 door version for some markets I didn't know existed.
Apparently a Lancia Kappa Coupe exists. Wasn't even aware of it myself until today when I stumbled across one in the ads.
>>17860274
Looks like a Skoda desu.

>>17860190
In south America was sold in as Nissan Platina and Renault Clio, it was a piece of shit anyway
>>17860299

>>17861094
It's an Isuzu Impulse. They're fucking hard to find, especially ones with the factory turbo.
They're not the most highest in terms of performance but they're fun to drive and share a platform with a lotus car.
>>17860172
Looks a little like a Twingo sedan.
>>17860411
I like the looks of the 2nd gen renault clio. Looks like a bigger twingo.
Ford Taunus was a very rare europe and southamerican only ford.
The Coupe was sold in those places too, but the southamerican coupe was a fastback. I think it has the looks of a first gen mustan shelby, but it has the lights, weight, size, and rigidity of a 80's ford shitbox.
It also came with a 2.3 inline 4. I would love to restomod this thing with an old ford V8 in it.
C4 sedan, designed for the Chinese market but I saw one a week ago with a Turkish registration.
I think that they have very lax regulations over in Turkey and companies can sell anything they want, you don't see Tata cars in the EU for example but they sell them over there.
>>17860172
They're popular here, the Peugeot 206 sedan too.
>>17860246
A neighbour had one in the 90s

I wonder if they beaf'd up the rear brakes too on that one or that the additional pair of wheels is more or less there to provide an additional pair of brakes.

Maybe it's been more popular in South America or someplace, but in Europe itself it's been a really low volume model. The few that haven't been run down to junkyard condition by contractors are now owned by enthusiasts putting Sierra performance stuff on them, in some cases even Sierra Cosworth conversions.

This isn't concrete but it looks like it's H-Body based (Skylark, Monza, Vega etc. not the later FWD H body)
It's one of those weird fucking cars from Saturn's pre-90's infancy. According to a Jalopshit article it had the Iron Duke in it, like other H bodies could have, but it was carburated and fuel injected, with the fuel injection kicking in high end and the carbs doing the grunt work, but GM decided (rightfully so I imagine) it was too compicated and didn't really increase performance or efficiency.

They were for a short time, same with Peugoet, and Citroen, this was back in the 80's and 70s in the case of Citroen, none of them did well, Renault did the best try, mostly because they bought up AMC shares and tired to use them as a spring board into the US, with the Renault 5, called...Le Car here. There is one of these shitbuckets a few streets from my house in glorious beige. Pretty good looking car. Those basketweaves are nice. That thing is always up in the air though or undergoing some kind of work.

Piece of junk.
Only people nostalgic about it are people who refuse to get smartphones because "older phones are the best".
The sort of people who refuse to have credit cards because the devil resides within them.
>>17878209
Looks like a poormans Delta Integrale
>17881099
I do have a smartphone. Yes they are mostly junk, their hull can be rusted to hell by weather in 2-3 years, but the engine (the brasov one not the andora or whatever) can hold itself 30-40 years without much assistance. They are useful in most conditions and are cheap to repair, but it is hard to find one that is not rusty as fuck or is parked since '89. Also just because you may be Romanian, I bet you love bmw, audi and mercedes just because it gives you pleasure to own a rusted out e36 from '94 that stays mostly in the parking lot.

BMW E60 iL - long wheelbase 5 series, chinese market only
>>17881189
another obscure 5 series - M5 convertible, a one-off
>>17881190
also the only E39 M5 Touring ever built (unfortunately)
some of the shit Bmw doesnt make ticks me off.
What about a V16 E32

E36 M3 compact
>>17881200
I am most disappointed in this.
If it was to see production it would've been the best big coupe of the 90's.

An M3 touring...
>>17881209

>>17863911
Not rare here, but the Kia Pride is more common
>>17881743
There's a guy here who sells them in perfet conditions. Search for Reginaldo de Campinas, he exports some as well.

This looks like the perfect car to give your son/daughter on their 17th birthday if you want to absolutely ruin their day.

Renault Alpine is in FH3, I love it, it's so unique, and it drives pretty nice. That said u don't think it's this exact model of Alpine. First French car I've genuinely wished we had on the American side of the pond. (besides the twingo of course).

Fuck, I not u. I've been ousted as a /mobilefag/
