Alright /o/ I've got a 64 Buick LeSabre with a numbers matching 300 in it. However it's seized and needs new rings, possibly new pistons all together, it might need a new crank and cam as well. But I've got square port heads for the thing and i'm pretty sure if I can get it unseized I can have a nice little cruising motor. But at the same time I can get a 350 with trans for cheap. Is it worth putting in the effort to fix this thing or should I just drop in a new engine and resize the driveshaft?
One in the pic isn't mine just a reference.
No, part out what you can to other collectors.

not parting it out. it was a project car for me and my now deceased father and I intend on finishing it. It's my baby.

Fuck is wrong with you?

Is numbers matching important to you? Id rather have a car i can drive than a numbers matching PoS. Throw in the 350, keep the 300 to rebuild when you feel like it. If the car becomes a rarity, swap in the 300 later.

That's some pretty sound logic

Keep the 300 or swap in a rover v8! Dont listen this group of Cleetus' and they're talk of chubbys
