Does /o/ into car audio at all? After being terrified of trying anything electrical with my car, I finally decided to replace my poopy blown system in my car with a full Boston Acoustics upgrade per recommendation of my father in law. I guess I never realized that a lot of it is so plug and play, and am extremely excited to add a small sub (like pic related) sooner or later. Post pics of your set ups for inspiration!
Car audio can be fun, if you learn it
i had a small system in my old car, havent done up my new one yet because i want to figure out what the fuck is wrong with it mechanically first
i had a head unit, some okay door speakers put in, and two 10 inches in the trunk powered by a shitty amp i got for cheap
i want to do up my new car with a real nice one. it came with an aftermarket pioneer stereo, and i want to get some nice door speakers and tweeters put in, a sound processor and base blockers, and throw the box i have in the back with a new proper amp
ohhhh the dreams

>intentionally making your car heavier

>implying 50 lbs is going to make any difference

But listen music at better stage and nicer response

>as if it matters
>as if you got me to reply so I will sperg and say most sub+amps are not that heavy

If you have under 50lbs of car audio equipment, you don't have any car audio equipment. My subs+box weighs more than that alone.

add more horsepower and torque to compensate.

Dude subs, box, and amp with wiring is not light lol

Car? That interior is cool as hell, wish modern cars still did that shit.

Why are there literally no sane audiofags? Every car audio enthousiast wants to stuff their car with the loudest and heaviest shit all the time. Meanwhile normies are driving shitboxes with blown up factory speakers. Are there no people who try to create the most space and weight efficient setup? I have never seen any audiofag do this. They just want the most ridiculous shit at any cost.

I made my enclosure with fiberglass to save space, weight and lower center of gravity

Nice. I guess you're pretty sane after all.

Most audio equipment comes in the form of a box, there's only so much you can do to save space. That said the fact that people go for volume and bass rather than audio range, soundproofing the interior and other things that actually improve the sound quality is fucking nebulous.

Yes.

Anyone have experience using DSP's?
