Hello /o/
I want suggestions for a new sports car for me to use for weekend drives. I have been contemplating over a 1992 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo for 1.6k and a 2002 V6 Mustang for 2.2k.
Am I doing it right?

Neither of those are sports cars.
one is a sports compact and the other is fastback coupe v6 pony car.
Buy a miata. It will be cheaper and way more fun than either of those cars. Also way more reliable.
Plymouth is straight garbage
>Am I doing it right?
No. Older Mustangs handle like shit (I own one) so the power of the V8 is the only thing that makes them fun. V6 models have no value on the used market.

Why is a Plymouth garbage?
I cant find a Miata that is in reasonable price.

I wouldn't buy either, but put a gun to my head and I'd chose the Mustang. You'd be better off getting a Miata like >>17854332 said, or anything of the sort. Even an old Civic would be a better choice.

Neither is good.
I'd just tell you to save up a bit more money, instead of trying to get anything that is called a "sports car", regardless of how it actually drives.

Lasers are rebadged eclipses
