Been looking for a cheap shitbox for a while, spotted a lower mileage protege for $600 that needs some tires and front rotors.

Anyone have experience with them?

Watch out for rust, they tend to get out bad because thin paint and no rustproofing.

Make sure the timing belt has been changed too.

Other than that it should be an alright little shitbox.

Im currently DDing a 94 Protege. Runs perfectly fine and I got it for $300. Only thing I've done are brakes, tires and oil pan gasket. Other than that its been a good little shitbox.
