>recently bought 1991 mr2 sw20
>slightly worried about snap oversteer meme
>track day
>tight track with almost no runoff areas
>take it easy for first couple of laps
>start getting comfortable
>see a track tuned civic take the faster corner without braking
>what the hell
>try the same
>going smoothly
>suddenly rear starts to slide
>oh fuck
>MUST
>NOT
>LIFT
>countersteer slightly with throttle still fully pressed
>inner dagumi awakens
>manage to balance the car
>drive away safely
shit was pretty hectic
When I was high so I let my roommate drive us to Denny's. Pretty much thought she'd flip us over
Just after I got my first speeding ticket. Didn't drive more than 5 over for a month.
When my lights decided to troll me when I was on the twisties, took a corner then shut off, almost pissed my pants.
Make the retarded decision to overtake a car before a blind corner. Just when i was going back into my lane i saw a car coming my way.
With a bit less luck i could have been dead by now. Yeah i got scared.
>driving on the "long hill" road into Buxton
>going down the hill approaching the double corners
>see bike coming the opposite way in the distance
>nearly at first corner now
>so is bike
>damn, he's moving
>just starting to brake for corner
>bike is REALLY moving
>he's not going to make the corner, I can see it
>dump on brakes + drop a gear for maximum stop
>bike comes screaming round the corner on my side of the road
>can see marks on the road from where he's trying to turn
>can feel car skipping. not enough stop happening
>bike slows just enough to catch it's grip and scoots past the offside corner of my car with about 2 inches to spare
>bike takes off like rocket up the hill
>my arsehole is going nearly as fast as my heart
>look in mirror at departing bike
>fuck, he had a pillion as well
When I get in a someones car and I feel car sick. Quite literally only get car sick in a bad drivers car.

>on twisty wooded backroad last October
>having a little bit of fun, keeping it only slightly illegal
>slip on some leaves every so often, but never lose control or anything
>only adds to the fun
anyways
>come to a pretty technical section
>three not-quite-hairpins going through an outcrop, the first one on top of a small bump, second at the bottom of a hill and the third on the crest of the hill, the first two have OK visibility, but the third is completely blind because of the rocks
>fuck it
>go full WOT through the first one, right hander
>and the second one, which was a left hander
>heading towards the third (another right) at 45MPH (in a 30 zone), about to start braking
>suddenly
>WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
>huge fucking semi comes barreling around the corner
>shithead is completely blocking the apex, pretty sure a truck that size isn't allowed on this road
>slam on the brakes full force
>stop mere inches away from the trailer
>goddamn umbrella hits me in the back of the head
>back up a bit as it tries to pull through the corner, bottoms out on the rocks, grinds forwards and nearly flips over before managing to dismount and resume
>watch as he barely squeezes by me and gets stuck on the next corner too
why do truck drivers insist on trying to squeeze down narrow roads

Tried to catch a WRX on a highway and my tail flung out a bit unexpectedly on a curve because of shitty road that launched me.

When I took a drop-off curve on Mulholland way too fast and heard my tires.
I don't think I've ever felt scared while driving, not even the time preceding me running into the back of another car. The cause of which I attribute not to speeding, not to following too closely, not to not paying attention, but to having not stepped on the brakes as hard as I could have.
>going round twisties at night in a battered Toyota RAV4 after getting stoned at my m80s house
>going way too fast, about 70mph on the straights and 50 around the corners
>swing right into the other lanes trying to do retarded racing line
>swing round one corner on the other side, motorbike is on the oncoming lane
>he swerves out the road and hits a bank and goes into the field
>I freak out and continue driving
honestly I haven't driven since, and this was two weeks ago
When I took this picture, I was leaning against the guard rail I was a few feet from crashing into.
