Has BMW gone insane?
>>17843522
the big grill is fine
but everything else please stop that hockey cross and the large U shaped front vent are terrible
>>17843522
>>17843522
No? Why are you just upset now? The X7 has been rumored for years.
As long as pic related exists, monstrosities like the X7 will have a market.
BMW knows the car meme is dying. Let it go, /o/. Let the crossover cancer into your life.
>>17843529
It's not them. It's these people.
>>17843529
But ///M is the strongest letter in the world.
It will never die.
miss me with that gay shit
>>17843522
it will be the most unreliable car on the planet. Jesus
>>17843522
As if all the shit X5 drivers weren't bad enough.
well the i3 is an actual production vehicle so
>>17844326
That's gross but it doesn't have the same stigma as an X crossover or SUV. All the regular tailgate-in-bumper-to-bumper-traffic and non-indicating retards moved onto leasing Audi sedans, but there's something about the BMW X that invokes the old stereotype in its drivers.
>>17843550
Correct. You understand BMW's audience demographics so well.
>>17843529
You mean Lincoln or Niggerlac?

Points from someone who's seen the production version:
>Chrome detailing in rear will be more subtle/refined
>Hockey stick is staying
>Grille will be slightly smaller, about the size of the Vision Luxury Concept car
>Headlights will be slightly bigger (saw that coming)
>Interior to follow concept pretty closely
>"Executive Lounge" rear seating will definitely be an option
>>17843550
You can see the disappointment in the man's eyes. He probably wanted to get a nice sedan that'd comfortably fit the whole family, but the misso insisted they needed all the extra space and how it's so big it must be safer for the kids.
>>17844378
You will see this in the production version.
It will grow on you slowly.

>not knowing German cars have UV and infrared blocking safety glass windshields.
I heard from one tint installer that the Audi windshield and pano roof already have 3M crystalline sandwiched inside. According to 3M's site, it blocks 99% of UV and 90-97% of Infrared.
Many car with pano roof should have it, otherwise, we will see more cases.
>>17844378
>>Headlights will be slightly bigger (saw that coming)
no
I like aggressive slim headlights..
I don't know I'm kind of digging this concept. moving away from the korean design language (the rear of the new 5 series estate.. blergh)
bmw's weren't even luxury in the 70s 80s or even the 90s they became insane with the e65
>>17845768
BMW was luxury with the E23 and E38 though.
Marketeers are killing the brand. Next up, the fwd 1 series.
Their design team being run by a bunch of arabs doesn't help either.
>>17845778
bmw had executive trim levels but all of their cars were available with base stripper level trim levels even the 7 series. you used to be able to get ones with cloth and manuel even up to the e38 gen but not in burgerland because munich threw in some wood and leather and a larger motor and called it "luxury" and the burgers ate it up
same thing with the s class, manuel and cloth stripper model w140s
here's a e38 with cloth seats and manuel

here's a w140 s-class with cloth seats and manuel

>>17845805
even with cloth seats and manuèl they still were extremely comfortable luxury ships at the era.
for your interest even the e65 was available with cloth seats too lol.
>>17845755
>I like aggressive slim headlights..
So what's your malfunction: manlet, dicklet or melaninenriched?
>>17845855
cars were expensive commodities in general in europe, but the 7 series and s-class were still used as taxis in the larger cities, sometimes police cars too
BMW i want to like you for what you have done, but you\re making it difficult mor me
>>17845863
the s class and 7 series never were used as taxis or police cars. you're confusing the S and 7 with E class and 5 series
>>17845874
>>17844261
Ok, no homo
>>17845865
Works really well with its confused expression.
>>17843525
no
german society doesn't have this neet problem like burgerland because everything is high class even driving a taxi
in amsterdam their taxis are teslas
>>17845880
sure there are special cases but those cars never were commonly used as service cars, they're just too expensive for such use.
Mercedes builds special taxi E class models just like BMW builds special police force models for the 3 series and other models but there are no special service model flagships, it would damage the brand image for both manufacturer flagships.
They do build armored flagships though
>>17845895
they're more common in the larger cities, the little bumfuck ones near the burger bases use the shittier cars
even the garbage man drives a mercedes in germany
so does the army man
Meanwhile in sweden.
and a daimler (mercedes) school bus
>>17843522
The X7? Are they fucking serious? X6 was stretching it but my god.
daewoo
/autism
>>17845938
Gotta get that chinese money
>>17843522
This is the Ultimate Driving Machine. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
>>17843590
>inb4 ///MX7 with a 7.0l twin turbo V12
>>17845755
m-manlet and dicklet
>>17845988
X7///M60i with a V12 is possible tb h
>>17845855
cloth seats are objectively better than leather though.
>>17846016
this, but put a space between X7 and ///M60i
>>17846049
having just gone to a car with leather seats, I actually agree
I don't want to have to use my bum warmer every time I get in in winter
Its a render of a CAD model someone threw together in a day, relax.
>>17845894
Model X looks better than a fucking X7

>>17844326
goddamn that looks so gay like wtf...
>>17843522
Can't wait to see clueless chinks driving these things around.
man I hate BMW and every other company following in the footsteps of this meme market trend. they just make whatever trending product/features is selling best and throw in some meme turbo inline 4 and the normies eat it up without questions. it's slow, underpowered, and uninteresting. the worst part is that people don't care. it has the BMW safety and badge on it. that's all that matters
>>17843522
The only reason this exists is to be re-badged as a Rolls-Royce.
>>17843522
>muh ultimate driving experience
>only makes AWD auto-only nanny controlled cars
really bakes those beans
>>17850063
"ultimate driving experience" is just the burger marketing slogan.
>>17843550
Its not them. It's these people.
>>17845894
Not that much teslas anymore really. Seeing more hybrids like the auris station and such.
Is no one going to comment on how much they stole from this design?
>>17845909
Its like their Ford
>>17853098
All crossovers are the same shit
>>17850335
