Opinions about the mkII Audi TT 2.0 TFSI?
Does anyone know anything about the 2.0 TFSI engine besides it clogs up?

I'm a GTI shill and I agree with this statement. If you strictly want FWD, GTIs are good cars. I don't recommend modern VW/Audi "AWD" systems. Old 4motion is passable, but the modern Haldex shit isn't active AWD. I will never recommend the Golf R or other FWD Haldex cars because you're wasting money on what amounts to beefier traction control.

Yes. Mk7 GTI with limited slip diff is a good sweet spot.

I've been meaning to get seat time in a Mk7 at autox or on the backroads to see how the LSD actually works. I've got a Mk5 which means average open diff, but the traction control sorta acts like one when it really needs to. It's a big investment compared to the value of the car so I've been hesitant to leap on doing an LSD.
