So... a Town Car with Town Car running gear? They've got the same 4.6 and 4R70 and the 3.27 gears were an option on the TC.

the caprice was such an underrated design.
I'm not sure why people hated it at the time.
Is it purely a hindsight/modern design mentality?

why do normies do this?

They softened the edges. I honestly thought it was the natural way to go considering they wanted better aerodynamics. I think its the perfect balance of boxy and curvy. Of all the cars I want to see come back, I want an honest 5th generation of the caprice. not that dorky Holden version a few police stations get to have. A rwd, body on frame, v8, full sized sedan/wagon. I know its not gonna happen but I wonder what a caprice would look like these days if GM made a tasteful revision/modernization of the caprice. Give the police version an LS.
