those were the NATO bike of choice her back in the green. Quite a lot knocking about on the streets in a drab olive green livery. Pretty tough bike so it seems.

Know an army driving instructor who trained folks to do all sorts of motorcycle gymnastics on these. Surprisingly capable bike for such an old dog.

Yup I wish there were more of these in the states. Saw an ebay listing for one and it was really cool. Heard some of them had the 350cc engine.
