Why does the thing have only brems in front, are they that fucking cheap. Yes i saw one in person, they only do front brembos. Also the front foglight area honeycomb mesh is such a small actual vent, i would also change how large the actual opening is, I know it is for structure since that insert also has the foglights in it but they could have made it larger opening.
>>
Because it's a nose heavy car and better brakes in the rear won't benefit it

And that opening is actually for the horn
>>
so you can do a rear brake upgrade

just like every civic before it
>>
own type r 2017
been looking for info on a rear brembo kit for sale
anyone?
>>
>>17822943
front brakes should be larger than rear brakes
>>
>>17823018
a pad upgrade would probably be better
>>
>>17822943
and no, brembo brakes aren't cheap. They're expensive as fuck. Every single sports car or supercar worth its sale uses Brembo brakes. They do have brembo big brake kits for normal cars, but they're like $3k each

*worth its salt

theres no real reason though. brake calipers are easy to engineer. road use? 356 T6 aluminum usually with stainless pistons.
why pay brembo for that?
pads? usually for street its some shit organic one for cold climate use. even with factory brembos
>>
Nose heavy cars don't really need fixed calipers in the rear, as most of the braking happens up front.

Does the Type R have vented rear rotors? The rotor diameter/thickness matters way more than the caliper brand ANON.

brembo brake calipers are severely overengineered.
The performance you gain from them doesn't lie though. They're work the price.

Did a little research.
13.8 Vented rotors in the front, 12 inch solid in the rear.
>>
>>17823250
no they are not. they are the same as any other.
if you mean brake FEEL thats more of the masters job.
if you mean stopping distance, then its the pad
>>
>>17822943
All honda type r's have been that way brembo front only
Same with 350z/g35's
>>
>>17823258
You can't get any shitty calipers. Good calipers will work better with higher temperatures and Brembos are designed to wear as evenly as possible
