Hey /o/. Just got my first car. It's a 1991 Nissan D21 hardbody. Thoughts? I was also thinking about a tow hitch upgrade to tow a trailer and maybe an engine swap to an LS motor of some sort. Feel free to post about your first cars and the mods that you did to them.

I had one of those OP. The stock KA24E is actually quite a good engine, revs high and is very reliable. Best mod would be new tires.

just fix worn out stuff that needs replaced and just enjoy it for a while. if you need to tow then definitely get a good hitch on there.

lowered the d21 is an excellent drifter if you're into that. since the ka was in so many s13s there's a good aftermarket for turbos as well.
