I don't know why you guys are so shocked by these things. It's a common CL tactic. You have something you either don't really want to sell but would take double what it's worth, or you hope there's some tard out there (and there are many) for whom the car is such a golden unicorn they'll pay anything for it. Guarantee if it's on CL long enough someone will buy it from him for $8K+.
