My mother is an excellent driver. She taught me many things concerning defensive driving and driving smart. I took drivers ed in high school and whenever something came up questions etc I either answered or in essence told what my mother taught me. The teacher told me halfway through that what my mother knew she should be the one to come in and teach because they were learning a lot second hand through me.

Later in life my daughter was learning to drive when she was 13. I was grilling her and showing her many things. By the time she was old enough to drive she was quite ready. She was so good in fact that I would let her drive anything from my tractor to my one ton truck. As she got older she started dating. One boyfriend was such a jerk he would tell her she was an awful driver and that she could not drive... Well enough of that kind of talk she had lost her self confidence and esteem. Ticked me off big time... I could not believe this idiot... She finally got rid of him and then she slowly got better... She is still not as good as she was at 16 but she remembers the defensive driving and such...

So to make a long story short.. Women are good drivers. It is the idiotic mentally deficient male drivers that insist on bringing the female drivers down instead of trying to become better drivers themselves...
So if you find a bad woman driver rest assured it was due to a poor example of a human being that made her that way...
In case you haven't figured it out I am very much a female who believes in people who tries to help others out... I have very little for someone who takes others down to their level instead of trying to elevate their own position...

There is a typical price range group that goes with a few manufacturers, the argument between premium and luxury can go for quite a bit but as I said before, you won't know till you go for a test drive.

Estimate a budget that you're going for and what you want in a car, keep adding things in a mental checklist and research from manufacturer to manufacturer. It'll take a while.

It really depends on how long the car has been on the lot, usually if not sold within a month or two then you can really haggle it down. Otherwise it might be an issue, just be ready to walk out.

I'd strongly advise against a new car anyways, absolutely no reason not to buy used. Even if you want something newish, a low mileage car can you save you quite a lot of money, price drops as soon as the car leaves the lot.. Also luxury cars have terrible resale value so if you don't plan to keep it for a while, it's best not to get one, alternatively if you do want one then get a much older model then.

I bought it with all the mods already installed. A fm2 turbo kit is right at 5k depending on what you add on and the turbo you go with. That's the full turnkey kit though. You can get the tuner kit that's like half the price but you have to source some parts. I would check your local Craigslist or Facebook market place. I saw a greddy kit for 1500 on my Facebook. And a Jackson racing sc kit for 1200 I think.

Some 50:50 mix of ATF and acetone in the cylinders sitting for a while might help unstick the engine, the mix is a good recipe for decent penetrating fluid in large quantities. It might have seized due to sludge in the engine blocking passages, Dracula in /ccg/ had a mixture of high weight oil mixed with ATF and acetone as well that they use for cleaning engines.

To prevent any molding, open up all windows and doors. Remove all floor mats and also carpet if you can. If you can't remove carpet, you can try steam cleaning or use foam carpet cleaning. Lightly flooded cars (some water getting onto floor) don't usually cause electrical issues so you should be alright.
