Hey /o/,
Wondering if anyone here can help me figure out this problem:
Back in December my fuel pump went, so I got it replaced. Earlier this summer it would take me multiple cranks to start my car, took it in, they warrantied out again. After that I took it in again. So in the past 9 months I've had my fuel pump changed three times.
>When I go to start my car any time of day and even when warmed up, I have to crank it two to three times
I figured it's the check valve but the check valve comes in that fuel pump assembly and it's been replaced three times.

sounds like maybe a fuel pressure regulator issue or a clogged fuel filter. see if either are external from the pump, i think the filter is

Will do; my mechanic clearly doesn't know what the issue is... could it be the spark plugs?

Jeep 4.0's are notorious for having CKP's and neutral safety switch going bad, which would cause your problem.
I also find it hard to believe that 4 fuel pumps have gone bad.
Get a fuel pressure test kit from Oriely's and make sure it's in spec with your manual

Had my crankshaft sensor replaced three years ago
I'll check out the other stuff, thanks!

Oh and the mechanic said he tested the pressure and it held at 50 psi and didn't lower. So it's gotta be something else then
Check battery load and test starter solenoid and the starter itself while you're at it. Could be a bad sensor, if the fuel pump is fucky check the lines for the pump itself.
