Imo is a combination of 2 things:

>exaggerated design that's very "in your face" that gets old too quickly.
>use of poor feeling plastic in key elements.

As stated before, they have improved but even in not so cheap cars like a new fusion you still get to see bad ugly plastic in very visible areas.

My problem with Chevy and GM in general is the homogeneity of their lineup, they share a ton of shit between models, that hurts the the luxury oriented GM's.
