Hey guys,
I'm hoping you can help me with a problem I'm having. My car has a failing fuel pump. Last week, I had it idling in the driveway and it shut off. Until that point, it started like a dream and ran great with the occasional stall. The only code stored in the computer was for the O2 sensor, I have an exhaust leak somewhere around the exhaust manifold. I get my codes pulled once a month because I don't have a working engine light. The O2 sensor was the only code. After it stalled that last time, things went south. It occasionally misfires now, just enough to be noticeable, not enough to be a problem, sometimes, there is a lack of acceleration, it takes forever to start, I'm assuming it's losing fuel pressure while it's sitting. A whole bunch of codes popped up, crank position sensor, engine speed sensor, something about the air fuel mix ratio, that one is understandable. The EVAP purge valve has been stuck closed since sometime in the winter, but it didn't throw any codes until everything else popped up. I fixed that valve today. But where did the speed sensor and crank sensor come from? Could the timing chain have jumped a tooth trying to start it?

Nobody knows anything about cars here.
Sounds like your car has the gay
Gonna have to junk it
Maybe the O2 sensor made the ECU think the car was running too lean and now it's running too rich? That could explain some of the things but it seems unlikely. Maybe try just replacing the pump
Sorry, I just thought some people would know something about cars in a place about cars.
