Opinions on 9th gen Civic?
Specifically sedan with A/T.
I want a newer commuter car, dont need anything fancy.

I never tried the automatic transmission civic but I heard people say don't get the one with CVT. I have a manual 2008 civic and it's good. Hasn't broken down on me yet. My friend has a coupe and he thrashes it around and drives like an idiot and it's got over 250,000 km on it.
The civic is a good commuter vehicle but I still recommend you get the manual transmission or else it's going to feel like it has no power.
Get a slightly older Accord, they're vastly superior cars
You can get a 2008-2010 for like $6k-$8k and they come with the based K series instead of the dog shit R series, have bigger and nicer interiors, and are put together much better

hurrr, why would you spend more then 3000$ on a car

Yeah, gotta have leftover cash for a few simple mods

when people say buy a 3000$ civic the 3000$ is supposed to cover the car and some mods with it

Ill look into the Accord also.
Ive driven a 9th gen Civic sedan before so im leaning towards it.
The car will not be modified so ignore the kids.

Very boring, very basic, but seems reliable and the automatics don't seem to fail like they did in earlier Honda's although I'd still get the stick for maximum reliability. Avoid the 2012 model like the plague, it was a flawed release but Honda revised all the issues in 2013.

Second the Accord. My dad bought one brand new in 2009 and it's still going strong
He also drives a 2013 S Class but has no intentions of getting rid of the Accord ever, it's just that good at what it does: being a reliable commuter car

what do you drive now?
