Post shaved bays, the most aesthetic car mod you can possibly do

Wire tucks in the worlds tightest engine bay are the best thing

>Open hood
>Have to take off asstons of plastic covers to actually do anything
>Might as well just have a second hood
Why do normies want this? What's the point of being able to open your hood to just look at some fucking plastic panels, it's like they never work on their cars.
>>17779194
"Engineered to slide" my ass. Let's see this car on a track making smoke.
>>17779649
It really pretty much is just another hood. Can totally confirm as I own same car
>>17779222
People love to meme that the Z32 engine bay is tight. It's no worse than most modern cars.
>>17779056
Fuck that looks good
>>17779649
lowers cabin noise
hides leaks from normies
>>17779955
open fender wells and no timing belt cover. Genius. For cryin out loud....
>>17779962
>Implying normies know where their bonnet popper is, let alone the bonnet latch.
>>17779966
the top mounts also peek out of the hood when it's down
its a dedicated track and show car because the owner isn't a poorfag like yourself.
>>17780042
that is not a track car by any means and I'm not a poorfag, fag.
>>17780042
open fender wells on a track car....r o to the fucking f l.
Because rubber chunks, rocks and small debris isn't a thing on a live road course. More like dedicated trailer queen.

You and I have different idea of what a track car is. One of our ideas is wrong and it's not mine. Stop name calling; it's not doing you any favors.
>>17780139
There's a huge difference between a track car and a show car that could pass as a track car on showcar days.
>>17780139
sure is some pretty paint for a track car
>>17780139
>BBK
Whoa!
>Centrelock wheels
WHOA!
>Full cage
Good for him, I love his helmet.
>Aero
Yeah wow, look at all that effective aero he has on that brick. A whole wing. Didn't bother with the vid, is there any underbody going on?

Also they sometimes direct the airflow. Mercs for example have covers with airducts directing air onto the turbocharger.
>>17780139
I've seen Golf with a 1.6litre engine with center-lock wheels, BMW 318s with a cage and Fiat Puntos with more aero, my dude.
Don't get me wrong, it surely is a high quality build but it's too pretty and too much style-over-function to pass as a track car in the eyes of a lot of people.
However there are some drift cars that run with open fenders, probably because of the extensive lowering.

I've never seen anything like this before. Do these cars still work? Where do they put everything?
>>17779977
Why not make hood unopenable then, to save costs?

Audi A2 had that

I remember seeing it in a Opel magazine in like 2004. I think it was painted red back then

Drag cars my dude.
