Well /o/, I just passed my driving test today
How long ago did you guys get your license? How many attempts did it take you to pass? What was your first car?
General learner driver thread
I go it two years ago at my second attempt. I drive a Toyota Carina.

The first time I took it I failed it immediately because I bumped the curb slightly on the way out of the parking lot.

Pretty easy test in my state, don't even have to parallel park.
15 in highschool, one attempt, but I cheated on it. got my learners, and went driving with the instructor, got my license, but I really didn't know the rules of the road at all. Good ol america

1st attempt
1.2 fiesta
Four years ago, one attempt and it was way easy, 1988 C1500 Silverado was a total shitbox that cost a grand.
Some 5 years ago when I was 20, was super nervous and even bought a guide from a guy when I was waiting for my turn. Turns out I didn't need that stupid 60 pages guide.
Here in Mexico the test is a joke, your first test is in front of a computer and they ask you the dumbest questions in the world. After that and more waiting in line you get to drive a car for the test but that stupid test is just a parking in parallel test and they give you a stupidly big parking spot. If you take the cars they have then you'll have to do it on a manual transmission car but you can bring your own car (i.e. Borrowed) even if it's an automatic.
Ever since then its been smooth for me, just the first month was a bit scary whenever I was going uphill on my manual little car.
