getting my first car, and im shopping craigslist for a shitbox cause it'll be stored outside for at least this year (in snowy michigan) and i dont want to weather a car i care about
how do you tell what's a "good deal" on a <3k civic? how do you avoid getting scammed? im just looking for guidance in shopping in this specific category i guess
Avoid civics. Get a Subaru or Toyota alltrac.

Are there any retired Crown Vics near you? You can usually grab a decent one under that budget. Fuckers are practically indestructible too.
