I own a practical but boring sedan, so I'd want to get lots of extra trinkets and stuff to make it more flashy. The question is, what kinds of accessories are there? Nothing is too cheap or gaudy here, I want to know what kind of stuff exist in the first place.
For example:
-Fuzzy dice (already got them)
-Steering wheel covers (got a leopard-furred one)
-Extra lights (got them)
-Scoop
-Gearshift Knob (considering a cobra-shaped one)
-Window films
-Underglow (illegal in Finland)
-Chrome grill
-Two-headed exhaust pipe
-Racing stripes
-Spoilers
What accessories can you think of? Extra bonus for everything going on the exterior of the car.

exterior rollcage?

just go down to whatever your local version of walmart is and buy everything chrome
Valve caps with small LED lights
Will make every thot wet, guaranteed
>>17757823
That would be perfect! I'll have to learn a bit more about welding before trying to make one, but that would definitely improve the car massively.

I have already checked all the local supermarkets, but they had surprisingly little car accessories. Mostly just stickers, window films, wunderbaums and some one-headed exhaust pipe heads. I did find a chrome trailer hitch cover though, which I naturally bought.

These look awesome! How do they get power?
My air freshener is shaped like my doggo.
I consider it pretty crucial to the operation of my car.

I think they're battery powered and then they close the circuit and start glowing by the centrifugal force.
put a roo bar on it
>>17758047
Too bad. They're still a great idea for special occasions, but I think they'd deplete pretty quickly on daily driving.
>>17758085
That looks awesome! Roo bars are illegal in Finland which is why they're called extra light racks now, but I'd definitely like to get some kind of metal pipes for my car too. A perfect suggestion nevertheless, and precisely the kind of accessory I'd like to have.

You could add a voltage gauge and oil pressure gauge to the dashboard.
Door LED projectors are pretty great, you can even order ones with custom logos.
>>17758470
Extra gauges are indeed a great idea, but I've always wondered, how do you install things like oil pressure gauge or water temperature gauge? I'd trust my skills with putting the gauges on the dashboard, but I presume actually connecting them to the motor would be difficult?

I had never even heard about these! They're awesome, and I definitely should order some as soon as I can think of a good picture to use.
Great ideas this far. I'm going to bed for today, but hopefully this thread will be alive when I wake up again.

t. dumb teenager who just got his first car and needs some way to make it his for some reason
>>17759434
Maybe he is, but you must admit that accessorizing your car is fun.
That said, register frames are cheap and easy to install.

Actually, I'm 34, but when I was younger I had a van and used that only for utility. Now I finally decided to buy a 400€ car for the sole purpose of living my dream and doing the kind of tuning I've always wanted. I had great plans for things like making an entirely customized hood for the car, but it turns out it's better to start off with smaller steps, which is why I'm looking for simple accessories for now.

Nice! I've always wanted a register frame but had forgotten they existed. Thanks for the reminder!
Bump -er stickers.

Biltema and that other store I forgot the name of (not Clahs Olson, the one with a red logo) usually have a lot of the things you're looking for.

Motonet? It's a nice place indeed.
It's strange though that nowadays all the exhaust pipe heads tend to be large ones. I found only one two-headed one with square pipes, but hopefully I'll find one with round heads somewhere.
I made this spotlight out of the leg-part of a recliner I found

Nice. My latest car modification was to connect radio to a switch so I can turn it on or off despite not having keys in the lock. It's labeled MAX POWER because it's the first song that starts playing when you activate it.

traps are the one exception
Holy fuck, is the target audience Mexicans?
>>17758470
Just bought a voltage meter. I'll install it, and then try to find some weldable metal pipe for making fins. They always look good, and I can't imagine why modern cars aren't made with them anymore.

replace the horn with this

I've always liked the idea of horns playing la cucaracha, but multitonal horns are illegal in Finland. And I don't think I've ever actually used the horn anyway. Nice suggestion though!
