Hey guys my car started overheating today and I was trying to see why it was overheating and I took off the coolant cap and coolant went all over my engine, will anything happen to my engine? Should I be worried?

If it's not overheating still, I don't think you should worry too much. Just clean the engine bay, and if any coolant got somewhere it shouldn't be, it will turn to foam

i mean it shouldnt fuck up anything right? the gauge was moving slowly to the red part but i never let it reach it, i turned it back on after i put the cap back on and it went up slowly and the rpms dropped a lil bit on idle
