I'm looking for a new car. I recently sold my 69 Chevelle and I wanted to something I could enjoy driving year long here in Nebraska, and that I can take camping with friends and family. Looking at getting the 3.8 with a manual. Bit under powered but, I'd probably swap it one day. What does /o/ think? Are there some other vehicles I may want to consider? Looked at Tacomas too but, my dad is getting one so I'd want something different.

Then get a later model Pentastar 3.6L version.

Yeah I guess. But I had planned on doing a v8 swap so I might as well go for the cheaper option
Pentastar is nice. Drove my GFs '17 and it's got a surprisingly nice ride, good pickup and comfy seats. Never thought I'd say it but I kinda want one in the future. Although it's nice to get back in my VW handling wise.

Maybe I will get the 3.6
Does anyone know any vehicles pretty similar to the jeep and around the same price? It be interesting just to see what else there is.

Is the last of its kind in the way you can nearly dismantle it with a four piece tool kit it comes with. The aftermarket for these is insane, and I was able to take the hard top off mine on my own too. Go for it OP, I love mine.
If I was rich, I'd buy a wrangler just to abuse the living shit out it.

That sounds sweet. How easy do the doors come off? And I'm set on a Unlimited Rubicon. What do you have anon?

Yeah if I had the money, I'd abuse the shit outta one too. But from what I heard they can take quite the abuse.
