Can't manage with the nuts, the seem to be in for good, used some wd40 let's see what happens.

One came loose but I can't pull it out, can't figure out why.

use a hydrolic press to push one of the pistons down.

Nah, you don't touch the sealing surface. Manufacturers who don't hate you provide pry points cast into the block and cases explicitly for this purpose.

There is a locating dowel on either end of the block (No 16 in the pic) that may be corroded and seized. I'm afraid you may have to pry to get it apart, right at those points.

Really nothing else to hold the block on. You're going to have to pry, and stone flat the marks you make, and put it back together with Gasgacinch or some other sealer which knows it's not glue.
