I have NEVER driven a car that is not fun on a twisty canyon road. Any car, even the shittiest shitboxes and blandest economy cars are fun through twisties.
How do car enthusiasts in the midwest stand it?
I imagine driving on a flat, straight line your whole life would get pretty awful eventually, no matter how fast your car is.

Life isn't an anime cartoon kid. Driving fast on twisted roads is very stressful. Straight line and ovals is way more funner.

It's not stressful if you're confident in your driving ability.
Obviously I don't drift through narrow mountain roads like a retarded weeaboo, but just driving through a twisty road fairly quickly is tons of fun.
I don't really understand. You're saying any car is fine on "twistys" then criticize what the Midwest people drive. This is a geographical criticism not an Automotive criticism.

I'm not criticizing.
I'm just making an observation that it must be dull only being able to drive fast in a straight line.
I also posed in the form of a question so I could get some anons from the midwest to give their input, either confirming or denying my observation.
Basically, learn how to read.

Wife's Saab 9-5 Aero is a bore on canyon roads. The transmission never knows what to do.

Until you get caught tripling the speed, loose your licence and get fucked on insurance for years to come.

What fucking car does that? A 40 year old clapped out truck has no issues doubling the speed limit in the twisties. Even a truck like this will get you into trouble...
The vast majority of the autohahn is literally straight enough to use as a runway...

I'm not talking about the cars being unable to do it.
I'm talking about how there are very few fun roads in the midwest.
