Umm yeah, no one is denying that auto is faster than manual, let alone a highly advanced dct. Also bmw and porsch have extremely great tech to get the power to the wheels

The Ford mustangs only make the8r advertised horsepower when they're hooked up to a dyno. On the road they use "power management" to prevent broken drivetrain components. That's my suspicion at least.

I was interested in a new Mustang GT but people say they're very disappointing to drive despite the numbers.

One thing to say. BMW and Vagwagon do tend to report power at the wheels. Everybody else is crank.

If it's a tight and twisty track, Probably. The Miata would need to be extremely light with sticky ass tires. An almost time attack setup. Even a sequential helps a lot hence why it's used in basically every race car.
