Hey!

I have an issue.

My car is an Alfa 75 TS, it has a 2 litre petrol engine with bosch ML4.1 engine management (MPFI)

The original fuel pump got bad (3 bar), and I got a used one from a friend which is 4 bar.

Since that, only when the engine is hot, the car starts badly and cant keep idle, and runs bad on cruising. No problem on full throttle. Is it running rich?

Do I have to install an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator for the higher pump pressure?

I don't know about Alfas, but normally the fuel pressure is controlled by the fuel pressure regulator, not the fuel pump.
