Can't see any leakage so that's a start, have you tried compressing it and seeing how it responds?
On my car I normally press say the corner of the bonnet down and let go, if it rebounds immediately to where it was before I pressed it, theyre fine. Otherwise it may wobble 3 or so times before levelling out to where it was in which case theyre probably cooked. Change your bushes too if you take the shocks out they make an even bigger difference sometimes.

Sorry I should correct myself that it may only be one shock that is worn out, genuinely you would do my test on all 4 corners of the car which will tell you the health of each individual shock as sometimes you can have just 1 bad shock (rare but happens)

The shock doesn't bounce back at all and it makes a cumfart noise when I push it down

In that case it's 110% gone, particularly if it's making wet noises like that all the fluids probably leaked out of it too.
Mad not to get them all replaced if that one is that far gone.
