I had $450 in the bank, convinced a relative to loan me the rest of the cash, and I'm most of the way payed off now anyways.

It has 185k miles (was recently offered 10k for it) on it now and the only issues ive had were carrier bearing, half shafts, and radiator apart from reg maintenance. Bushings are worn now... chassis parts are hard to find.
A little slow compared to modern cars but it can still hold its own. A big downside is because the car was only made 3 years.. this things actually a little bit on the pricey side for parts. About on par with my 08 335i. It has been a great car though and I dont foresee letting it go.

i didn't even care the thing had electrical problems, abs light on, shocks leaking, transmissions been slipping since i bought it. only thing that was going strong was the engine, and that had a fuck ton of problems with the emissions system.
no one else wanted it. i gave no fucks
I will play your foolish game.
>>17731937
You still should have gotten at least 500 for it. Next time just tell them that you need a little more to talk you out of selling it privately. The worst that can happen is that they'd say no deal

See the correct and immediate answer should have been haha I'm not a gay. But you couldn't say it. Instead you project. It's like when R Kelly was asked on 60 minutes if he was attracted to underage girls. Immediate answer should have been NO. His answer after a moment of consideration - define underaged. That's you. In one of the few cars confirmed gayer than a Miata.

>>17736897
Actually it's the Performance Pack, I wouldn't have gotten the Limited otherwise, since the other changes aren't worth it on their own. IIRC it was 29k out the door.
>>17736900
Nope, I'm not gay.
>>17736981

No, that's 4chan.
1990, 5 speed, odometer broke at 450k, everything works, still runs fucking great.
>>17736897
SLOOOOW
>>17736989
That's a good deal for new performance pack. I'd change out the transmission fluid with some motul, makes very big difference with slipping into gear instead of having resistance or issues early morning. Pilot supersports were nice improvement too with its grip! You get different tires than what earlier years came with or same?
>>17737008
Not really, my sti is fast however
Just lowered it some more. roast me hard
>>17737040
That engine is gonna blow!
>>17737052
Enjoy your terrible suspension performance.
>>17737052
I'd imagine alot of squealing from suspension, have you changed out bushings? Sad to see the clearcoat is fucked though
>>17737062
No sir, compression/Leakdown great results and a block test done with nothing wrong. Need to get timing belt done even though it's only 61k miles due to age (before it does blow).
>>17737040
Yeah, I was planning on changing it when I change the oil. Did you change out the fluid in the diff to Motul too? I've heard some people recommend doing that too while you're doing the transmission. It still has the Primacy HPs like the previous years, but I'll probably go with Super Sports when I wear them out unless they're selling the Sport 4S in the right size by then.
>>17737052
>Has stupid clean 240
>Decides to rice it
Why do jap cars attract the worst people
>>17737094
it doesnt make any noise, got suspension arms and front lca's also gonna repaint the car after i get the type x stuff, got a wing and picking up a front bumper tomorrow
>>17737137
>buying new suspension parts is rice
ok buddy
>>17737125
Forgot to mention that but yes, ideally you'd want to change out transmission/differential fluid. Get a UEL header it's great with stock exhaust, not too loud or quiet with right sound paired with a tune is nice increase in power you'll definitely feel with better tires.
>>17737140
You just doing bumper and spoiler or you gonna do those riveted fenders and shit too? Hopefully same color, the body wears that red color nicely
>>17737154
You slammed it that's maximum rice bb
>>17737129
Which car is yours?
>>17737161
Which header did you go with? I had thought about getting the Ace header eventually, but I prefer the UEL sound.
Bought brand new back in 08. Almost 10 years old now but still running great.
>>17737169
oh please thats not slammed
>>17737161
side skirts, rear valences, kouki taillights and maybe overfenders when i get wheels. and yeah same color. basically like pic related
>>17737187
What is that?
>>17737185
Rev works is what I got, that ace header is like 1500 bucks right? The rev works was 699 much better quality than Borla. I'd take it to a shop for that because they'd have custom gaskets to use as you might get exhaust leak without it the grimmspeed gaskets left a leak until I took to shop where they used a nice gasket with no problems (guess it's problem with aftermarket headers)
>>17737195
Looks good when fenders aren't riveted on
>>17737195
>Nearly riding on bumpstops
>Doesn't think it's slammed
It's slammed you have what like a couple inches of travel
>side skirts, rear valences, kouki taillights and maybe overfenders when i get wheels. and yeah same color. basically like pic related
Like pottery
>>17737210
Yeah, it's kinda expensive, and I'm not sure if the extra power is worth it. I'll have to look into Rev Works. Thanks for the advice anon.
>>17737245
Np here's what it sounds like on stock exhaust, disregard "unbolted" sound clip. Goodluck
