Hey /o/
I got a D4F(2004) renault motor from a friend.

I have a twingo sitting around and was thinking about swapping it in and boosting it, nothing too flashy (<10psi). Will it take the load? Planning in driving it daily.
They made a factory turbo version that made about 100hp. Pretty sure it has a different head and internals though.

No you didn't

But there's already a turbo on that engine, anon.

Yeah, thats the new one. Yeah the head and internals have been reworked quite a bit.

D4f does not have a turbo charger, However the reworked version (d4ft aka 1.2 tce) has.

He swapped it from his clio for some peugeot engine irc.

You sure about that?

Not really, no
I just want a fun project lel
Anything will take a turbo, it's just a question for how long

Should bolt right into a Twingo too, provided it's got a D7F or D4F in it already.
Only problem as far as I know is the stock JH1/JB1 transmission not being rated for the torque the turbo version puts out.
