I don't have much money to afford a new car just for track use and so I sometimes use my daily at the track however my friends have been telling me I'm playing with Fire if I crash into the wall get in an accident something breaks etc I will be SOL
Do you use your daily as a track car?

Yes, it's bad. Shits gonna break down and you'll have no ride.
Yes it's dumb.
nobody here goes to the track

Insurance won't cover you and crashes are frequent. Wear and tear is greatly magnified. Yes, it's a bad idea.
You shouldn't even run the same viscocity oil between track and daily use; your normally-recommended oil will be too thin at track temperatures, and brake pads for track usage are too dusty, noisy, and short-lived for good street use.

I do, bitch.
Hopefully you have money aside to pay to fix your transmission and shit like that
It's what I do. Definitely have money set aside for a major repair. But any decent car can handle the abuse.

i daily drive my track day and autocross car. not many problems after a year and a half of doing so. If you plan on doing actual competition, like door to door racing, then yeah you're gonna get your shit fucked.

No just a weekend warrior atm and I just bring it to amateur drag and drift events

Drag racing is nothing. It's fun cheap and easy. If your car has a weak diff or drive line issues you may stress it out if you put slicks on. Drift might not be a good idea because crashing. I'd rather autocross than drift.

Well I do auto cross and drifting but I never exceed my limits when I'm driving my car if I even think for a second my car is gonna spin out crash etc I slow down and quit the course
Buy a shitbike as a backup vehicle.
Better yet buy a shitbike as your trackmachine.
