No trunk release, can only open the trunk with the key. That means I have to turn the car off to open the trunk. Also, the hood release is in the trunk.

Heard about the Supra being a driving coffin with the targa top, that it'll crumple if you roll over, and about it leaking often. Waiting to join the AF so I could maybe come out with a bit of money and buy a M3

This about sums it up, atleast the AC work flawlessly during summer season.

The yokohama S drives that are on my car are noisy as fuck

Another 3k miles and theyll be dead enough to change out, thank fuck.

Tires are so thin on the wheel these days to acommodate sports cars with bigger rims that road noise travels through them really loudly. Look at an older Mustang Foxbody or Miata, big fat tires and they're so much quieter, relatively speaking at least. It's a similar thing in my stepdad's 928. Big fat fucker V8 in the front, but thanks to the highway cruiser styled sound deadening and some chubby tires it's quieter inside than my '08 Liberty on the road, no joke.

I have a hardtop so the rigidity is actually fairly excellent, but yea the Targas are so bad that you can feel the things flex as you drive down the street.

Great first car though, insurance payments are low, and gets great gas mileage. 31-33 outside if hwy, 42 on hwy.

Can confirm, can't hear my tiny boxer engine over the sound of my Michelin PSSs. Worth it though.
