I drove FWD for many years, turbododges. Cheap, fast, handled good but once I cranked their boost up so high they all exploded and I moved on to cars with real power I had to learn to drive all over again.

First of all, Barchetta is 1995, not 94.
Also it was produced 95-02 & 02-05, so comparing to NB is more accurate.

Second: 1.8 NA is 990kg, not 1095 and was faster.
Third: It was also slower than the heavier pre-lift NB 1.8
