How much would you pay (or expect to pay) for a well built and tuned 1st gen miata with a turbo charged engine with complete headers on back focusing on weight and performance, while everything else remains stock, except the suspension, which is replaced and tuned with something that lowers the car about 1 inch, looks good and feels great on the track, while still being acceptable on the street?
Same question for the 2nd generation miata.
Trying to figure out what a good price point is for reselling my friend's miatas. Local prices have a lot of variation for similar specs.

depends on the mileage, rust, how it runs and your location.
check your local cl for miatas and figure it out from there

I've checked cl and it is like $1800 to $9000. And the $9000 is mostly stock. Where as a modded can be anywhere from $3000 to $8000.
My buddy is being shipped out soon and he is going to leave them in my driveway for the time being, but I can't keep them there for long thanks to my neighborhood's CCNR's. Trying to not rip him off, but don't want them sitting for a while, either.
Mileage on the 1st gen is 155k. No rust that I'm aware of. Very well maintained, no dents, but pains is probably 7.5/10. Runs great, strong, no problems.
The 2nd gen is pretty much the same thing but with 8.5/10 paint. He took care of his rigs.

In not-as-good condition. Forgot to include that.
Would $9000 be a good price point for the 1st gen and $12,000 be good for the 2nd gen? Seems high to me.

hmm i dunno. I'd say get a list of the modifications, pictures and all that then ask on miata dot net. Its a very helpful forum.

I dont think any Miata is worth $9k. whether its stock or heavily modified.
