I want a classic(looking) car with a v8 as my next project car. I'd like it to be easy to work on with a large engine bay and an engine that responds well to mods coming from plentiful aftermarket. What choices does one have besides the foxbody? Especially older if possible.

I'd love to have something like pic related but all the big name classic carry a hefty price tag just for the shell. I'm in socal if that helps.

I just got a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger. I like it a lot. You just have to search a bit, there are a lot of Darts with slant 6's. As well, it's different you don't see a whole ton of them.
